Grade Your Resume

What did I do?
As instructed, I went to REZSCORE to upload my resume to see how well I would be graded.  I have always been told that my resume is very good and even had a teacher at Fairmont State help me put it together before I graduated with my undergrad.
What did I learn?
I was very surprised to see that it gave me a C+.  The tips it gave for me to improve my resume are that it's to short, more in depth work experience, remove my objective, and provide references.  My resume is one page, has a short objective, brief description of work experience, and other activities that I'm involved in.
How can I use?
It has been my experience as a teacher nobody looks at your resume.  They care if you are licensed.  I guess If I decide to get out of the field of education I will consider redoing my resume but until then I will keep it just the way it is.

ISTE NETS Standards
The standard that is most related to this activity is 5-c and 3-a. This standard allows me to evaluate and reflect on current research and professional practice on a regular basis to make effective use of existing and emerging digital tools and resources. I created this resume five years ago and I have update it regularly. I can see how this website would be helpful for someone needing to improve there resume.  It also helps demonstrate the use of technology systems and transfer current knowledge to new situations.
