What did I do?
For this assignment I had to modify a google spreadsheet. I had to figure out what formula I needed to use in order to give me the correct answer to each task that I had to complete. I had to figure out the final letter grades, averages, and change the border and background.
What did I learn?
This assignment was interesting but not very useful now that we have Edline. Edline provides us with all this information without the use of spreadsheets.
How will I use it?
I would not use this in my classroom. If I wanted to have record of my students grades I would keep them with paper and pencil. I find Edline much easier and faster to use and find out all this information.
ISTE NETS-T Standards
The standard that is most related to this activity is 2-d and 3-d .  The first standard allows for using resulting data to inform learning and teaching.  This standard allows the usage of digital tools to locate, analyze, evaluate, and use information resources to support learning.  I realize now that edline is a tool that has made teachers lives a lot easier.  I wouldn't want to do spreadsheet grades.  This assignment tested my technology ability.
